Dr. Marco Caligari is a physiotherapist at the Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri I.R.C.C.S. of Veruno (No) since 1997 (today "ICS Maugeri IRCCS SpA SB").
He has been involved – in the role of teacher – in several training activities related to the occupational therapy and the rehabilitation addressed to physicians, nurses and physiotherapists and organized by the UPO University (Novara), by the AISLA (Italian Association for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), by the Fondazione Maugeri and by other Organizations. 
Dr. Caligari graduated with distinction in Physiotherapy at the University of Insubria in Varese on June 2004, Master in Management and Coordination Functions of the Health Professions (University La Sapienza Rome on May 2017). His degree thesis was related to the development of an assistive communication device for people suffering from heavy impairment and with movement and speech problems. 
He has competences in Alternative and Augmentative Communication and in various sectors of the Information & Communication Technologies. 
Dr. Caligari was a member of the Government Commission for the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and participates to various Technical and Scientific Committees.
He authored and co-authored several scientific papers published in medical and technical specialized magazines.
